About the Muises

Trish and I have two daughters and one cat. We live and work in the unique hamlet of Claremont where we've been since 2009. We have an RESP, two RRSP's, one TSA, a corporate investment account and one LIRA. We manage our money the same as we do for our clients. We want best-in-class fund managers, we want the right asset allocation and we want to take advantage of savings incentives and tax deferral opportunities. We have one daughter in high school and one daughter in university. And we each have retired moms with fixed incomes who live on their own.

This is not the first time we've worked together. Back in 1996 we met and worked at a small firm for a few years. And we once shared a 540 square foot apartment at Yonge and Eglinton. After 18 years of marriage we were as surprised as anyone about how happy we were to work together again. I've always had entrepreneurial leanings and have understood that while being your own boss is a privilege, it comes with all of the decision making and responsibility of a large organization. Outside of work, I enjoy beer-league hockey, nutrition and fitness, mountain biking and psychology, reading fiction and non-fiction. Trish enjoys reading, architecture, local history, home design and decor and fitness classes.
